GloZell Green & Husband Kevin Simon Welcome First Child!
YouTube star GloZell Green has over 4 million subscribers online. She and Kevin Simon wed in 2013. On Thursday, August 4, the couple welcomed their first child.
Surrogate Shawna Johnson delivered the baby, who weighs 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and measures 19.5 inches. The baby’s name is O’Zell Gloriana De Green Simon. The name honors GloZell’s father, mother, and sister.

The YouTube star previously had struggles with fertility. Doctors said to Green that a pregnancy is unlikely due to factors such as an endometriosis diagnosis. However, that didn’t stop GloZell from growing her family.
According to People, GloZell states, “To say, ‘What Shawna is doing for us is the greatest gift,’ is an understatement. She truly is an angel in our lives and we will be forever grateful to her for her generosity toward us.”
Green then went on social media to celebrate the arrival of her first child. According to the new mother’s Instagram, O’Zell left the hospital and joined her family at her new home.
GloZell also went on Twitter to share an adorable video of her mother meeting the baby. She writes, “Granny won’t put O’Zell down!”
